Yining Dong is an artist and researcher who focuses on the transformation of trauma memory through narrative, and on exploring perception in nature through visual art and music. Recently, her research has centered on the body and politics, working across media with a foundation in dance.
Yining earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from Goldsmiths, University of London. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Hunan University of Humanities, Science and Technology. She has lived and studied in both London and China.
